Copyright and Publishing Rights
1. Copyright
- All articles published in "Journal for Social Science Studies" are protected by copyright. The copyright for each article resides with the author(s).
- Authors grant "Journal for Social Science Studies" a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to publish the article and to distribute it in print and electronic formats, including on the journal website and in databases.
- Authors retain all other rights to their articles, including the right to self-archive and to publish their articles in other publications after a six-month embargo period following online publication.
2. Publishing Rights
- Authors warrant that their articles are original and that they have obtained all necessary permissions for publication, including permissions for the use of any copyrighted material.
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their articles and for the ethical conduct of their research.
- Authors agree to cooperate with the editors of "Journal for Social Science Studies" in the review and revision process.
- Authors will be provided with a proof copy of their article to review before publication.
3. Open Access Option
- Authors can choose to publish their articles under an open access license, which will make the article freely available to everyone online.
- Authors who choose to publish their articles open access will pay an article processing charge (APC).
4. Third-Party Rights
- Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from third parties for the use of any copyrighted material in their articles.
- Authors agree to indemnify "Journal for Social Science Studies" against any claims of copyright infringement arising from their articles.
5. Policy Updates
- "Journal for Social Science Studies" reserves the right to update this Copyright and Publishing Rights Policy at any time.
- Any changes to the policy will be posted on the journal website.
